    • It depicts a knight holding a crusader's sword standing on a reel of film
      with five spokes.
    • The spokes signify the original branches of the Academy: Actors, Writers,
      Directors, Producers and Technicians.
    • Why the statuette was named 'Oscar' is contested and has many theories to
      it.
    • The 79th Annaul Academy Awards will be held on 25th frebruary 2007 at the
      Kodak Theatre in Southern California.
