‪#‎I‬  ‪#‎vedsviews‬ Director Shankar means lavish sets, vast canvases, striking color schemes, some great visual FX and CGI. The Movie I does not disappoint on these fronts. What could have been a visual spectacle and thriller turns out to be a tale of love and revenge though is made into a 3.5 hour saga which begins to fell like a chewing gum many months old already. Vikram (as Lee) and Amy Jackson(Diya) do what they can and provide enough visual relief for the women and men respectively, this pretty much is only the value for money. While the production values from Shankar are always a given you want a storytelling experience, which you don't get. Is it worth watching ? Hmmm.... for Amy, maybe once :)
ps: I watched this movie in its original Tamil language so while I followed most of it I may have missed out on the nuances of dialogue.
